Easter Half Term Food & Activity Packs

The East Riding Food Poverty Alliance (ERFPA) are delighted to be working in partnership with East Riding of Yorkshire Council in the provision of a half-term food pack and activity pack which will be distributed to eligible children across the east riding communities. This is an addition to half term luncheon vouchers.

To access one of these packs please book an appointment via our click and collect system by visiting erfpa.org.uk The booking system will be live from Saturday 27 March 2021.

If your internet access is limited you are able to telephone 01482 871077 between 10 am -1 pm on Monday 29 March, Tuesday 30 March or Wednesday 31 March.

The King's Picnic

Very soon it's King Jellyspoons big birthday. He'd really like your help to plan a perfect picnic in celebration. Using your ideas and skills in acting out join Jon from Dramatic Theatre to create a fun adventure online.

A participatory imaginative drama session for 4-7 year olds.

Materials needed to join in: Some paper, pencils or crayons, a little bit of space and your amazing imaginations.

The 'King's Picnic' is available to stream for free on YouTube. Join in with surveys and the conversation in the comments section of the video.

'The Giant's Loo Roll' musical stream

"Oh Fe Fi Fo, And Fe Fi Fum! Now what shall I do to wipe my... Bumpety! Bumpety! Bumpety-Bump! A Giant’s toilet roll one day fell to the floor and flew away."

Look out for the biggest loo roll ever on stage in this GIANT of a children’s musical. The villagers living in the town below the Giant’s house had better watch out, a loo roll has gone bouncing down the hill and straight towards them! Watch out for some frightened sheep, excited school children and a fantastic amount of toilet paper in this rip-roaring musical by TaleGate Theatre Production. Based on the original book by Nicholas Allan.

Easter Egg-Stavaganza

"Help! The bunnies are hopping mad! The Easter Bunny's Egg-cellent Egg making machine has exploded and lost its cogs! They need your help with this 'Hare'-raising problem. Through a series of challenges and Easter-themed craft activities, you need to find the cogs, fix the machine and save Easter! Learn how to seek out the 'bad eggs' with Reggie Rabbit, dance with Regina Rabbit and challenge yourself to a classic egg race to deliver the all-important eggs with R'fur Rabbit."

Recommended for 3 to 11-year-olds

Materials needed to join in: craft materials such as paper, sellotape and scissors (with adult supervision) and eggs! Optional templates for bunny ears, cogs and the egg making machine can be downloaded to view or print underneath the videos.

The 'Easter Egg-Stavaganza' is a five-part series available to stream for free on YouTube. They are intended to be watched in order.

Get creative with Castaway Music Theatre’s morning zooms this Easter.

Meet other young people and have fun experiencing different arts led by creatives from Castaway Goole Music Theatre.
